Please don't make us wait 5 or 6 years for your next record!

Hey Coach
So great to hear from you Kevin and I am really happy that you are enjoying the CD...Salesian was an extremely musical place for me and I am always thrilled when on or another of the boys shows up in my office waiting room to say hello. It was so great working with you there and as I look back, I realize that it was very good and very important work that we did....Blessings to you and your family...send me an email with your contact info..Thanks for chiming in....Monty

It was good to hear your voice and find you remember me. Of course a lot has happened and some things are better left forgotten. The future is getting brighter each day. I'm not going to push, you're busy and have a life to live. And if you can make some time to visit me I'll have my wife make some Polish food. You have made a great improvement in your guitar playing, your songs are ballads?, and my grammer hasn't improved all that much over the years, except maybe that I can't spell as well as I used to. Don't sue me.

Hi Kelly....so nice to hear from you. For a copy of "Son Of A Son" just click the icon on the buy CD page...it is on CHANGING SHOES.

As for the song I sang for John, it was called "Wine Into Water" and was written by a man named T. Graham Brown...if you google either his name or the song title you should be able to purchase a recording of the song. Quite a few people have asked me about it. It really is an amazing song which means so much to so many people. It was hard to sing on that sad day. Please give my love and regards to your family....would love to have your brothers come out to a show and heckle me....

May 2, 2006

Dear Monty, I just finished listening to "Changing Shoes" and have come to the conclusion that you are one of the very best "unsung" singers and songwriters making records today. Many songs touched me in a profound way. As always, there is an openness and honesty in your most personal songs, especially “Ensename”, “Feel This Way” and “Faith In Love.” I loved the whimsical in “From This Window” which opens your recording and the lighthearted wordplay in “Cartoon Song” and Boxing Match.” You have always been very supportive of my songwriting, but you my friend, deserve all the accolades and successes now. The torch has officially been passed. Please keep singing your songs and making your beautiful magical music. Congratulations on a superb recording. Sincerely, Rex Fowler/Aztec Two-Step PS. Get ready to play, I just bought some new sticks yesterday!

Hey, big man.
It's been a long time. Glad to hear you're still singing. And sounding good, I might add.

I think I still have my cassette of an earlier album.

Hope you're well, happy, doing all you hope for.
Best, Chip (by the way, I'm still playing golf...but have never hit a 5 wood like you hit on the 12th hole at Pelham when we played. One of the all time great shots.)

Hi, Monty,

Great website. Congratulations. You're not really wearing those high heels, are you? They look mighty uncomfortable. I took a quick look and listen. Enjoyed "Ensename" -- first time I've heard it, and "Increments and Accidents" (nice flute accompaniment). Thanks for keeping us posted. Will catch up to you in person one of these days.
