MONTGOMERY DELANEY: GUESTBOOK

Tom & Debra Reese

August 22, 2008

Dear Montgomery

We had the great pleasure of catching your show on a "nothing else to do" Saturday night up at the Big Kahuna. We are so glad we did. You are an amazing songwriter with so much to give and share. Deb and I left the place in such a great mood after having been so thoroughly and wonderfully entertained. I hope they have you back next summer.

Keep on doing what your doing!

Hey Mr.Delaney. First I just want to congratulate you on the success of your music and law career.I was very excited to have found this website and have the chance to hear some of your great music! Son of a son is my favorite. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your inspiration and guidance as a teacher. When I first met you more than 15 years ago in Salesain high school in New Rochelle, I was never really excited about going to school. You showed me that learning can be both exciting and fun.You have also been an inspiration for me to go after my dreams. You were also my biggerst inspiration to become a NYC police officer.Although I am not assigned to the 44, I still patrol many of the same streets that you once did, and for that I am proud!I guess "thank you" is not a big enough word to express my gratitude but for now it will have to do. Im looking foward to catching one of your shows soon. Till then.. "May the road rise to meet you"!God Bless. John Gallagher

Monty,
It was great to see you again last week. Thanks for the schedule. Soledad and I will do our best to make it down to see and hear you. Remember, your album was the first real music that my first born, Isabela, has ever heard. She's 5 now and hasn't recovered from that experience yet, but therapy has been helpful. :o) Be safe!
See you soon,
Cheers,
Joe

P.S. I was reading your guest comments and saw John Underkofler's name. Small world....

Hi, Monty -
Just saw the notice for last Friday's concert in Lake Katonah - wish we could have been there! Let me know where you're playing next. This coming Saturday we're presenting Sloan Wainwright at the Good Folk... Did you get wind of the Dave on Dave CD by David Massengill, a tribute to Dave Van Ronk? I heard a few cuts from it on the radio and it blew me away!
Hope to catch you around one of these days.
Peace be with you...
Bill (and Brandi)

Hello Montgomery! I was a fly on the wall at the John Street jam a few weeks ago and just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your performance there. Even with a scratchy throat, you were so poignant and entertaining. It was a great piece of showmanship for you to sing likw that while you were obviously so ill. I do hope that you are feeling better and I am looking forward to catching you at the Colony in Woodstock next month.

You are a trooper!

Your performances are passionate too...and besides all that good stuff you're just a damned good guy! You keep on conquering listeners!
Talk to you soon!
